"The Unexpected Journey" by Thom Rainer

About 1 out of every 10,
I come across a book like
"The Unexpected Journey"
that is hard to put down. Within its pages are the stories of people who came
to faith in Christ from other religions or viewpoints.

Last night I read about a Mormon couple, an Orthodox Jew and a Hindu coming to know Jesus personally. The author's conversational writing style allows you to step inside their lives and gain a clear view of their spiritual journey.

What I realized most is that these are people who are searching spiritually just like me...for truth, meaning and purpose in life. They had taken a path that led them down a dead-end street, but, through a series of events, found Christ to be all they were looking for.

I highly recommend this book because we are surrounded by a huge religious mix. It gives you a basic understanding of other religious views and a heart for people who need Jesus.
